BNCT Project in Hong Kong-Shenzhen – Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony
Together with China Biotech Services Holdings Limited (CBSH), our partner for the Hainan Island BNCT Project, and Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. (SHI), we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (HSITPL). The signing ceremony took place on April 18th at Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The Hong Kong government plans together with the city government of Shenzhen to develop the Lok Ma Chau Loop along the border with Shenzhen. This area is part of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone. Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (HSITPL) will plan and build an international innovation and technology hub, as well as manage and operate it.
In progress with the BNCT project in Hainan Island, CBSH plans to introduce SHI’s BNCT device in Hong Kong. In cooperation with HSITPL also our company is part of the MOU. Next to the cooperation of technology venture, the MOU encompasses the expansion of our company’s business. Furthermore, 60 additional companies signed the MOU, and the ceremony was held in presence of Hon Kong’s Chief Executive.
The MOU contains the direction of this collaboration, but the precise plans will be determined during individual discussions among the parties.
